ABC Stores go upscale on Maui

Advertiser Staff and News Services

Hawai
i-based convenience retailer ABC Stores recently opened a new flagship store at the Shops at Wailea on Maui.

The 5,500-square-foot store will be the 60th in Hawaii, Guam and Saipan for the company, which plans to expand soon to Las Vegas.

ABC President Paul Kosasa said the Wailea store is testing sales of higher-end merchandise, such as fine wine. "It seems to be doing fairly well," he said.
