MUST-SEE: "Friends," 7 p.m., NBC: Even when it’s getting thumped by "Survivor" in the ratings, this is one of TV’s best shows. Tonight, Susan Sarandon guest-stars as the star of Joey’s soap opera. Her character’s brain is being transplanted to his character’s body, putting her out of work.

College Basketball, 7 p.m., KFVE: SMU at Hawaii.

"Survivor: The Australian Outback," 7 p.m., CBS: And then there were 12.

"Sweet Dreams," 9:30 p.m., American Movie Classics (1985): The story of country star Patsy Cline was beautifully directed by Karel Reisz, with a superb performance by Jessica Lange.

"Friends Outtakes," 7:40 p.m., NBC: Conan O’Brien hosts a collection of clips and chats with the cast.

"Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?" 8 p.m., Fox: It’s now clear that there is no low that Fox can’t go beneath.

"Will and Grace," 8 p.m., NBC: Ellen DeGeneres guest-stars as a daft nun. She buys an old car from Grace, who desperately tries to get it back.

"Mystery," 8 p.m., PBS: Hospitalized, Morse keeps busy by studying a murder that happened 140 years ago.

"Just Shoot Me," 8:30, NBC: Ashton Kutcher, best known as Kelso on "That ’70s Show," plays an intern, finding instant troubles with Maya.

"ER," 9 p.m., NBC: James Cromwell ("Babe") is back as Bishop Stewart. Now, despite his critical illness, he insists on presiding over an ordination.
