Survived by companion, Nina Martin; stepson, Clayton Ching; daughters, Gertrude Ozaki and Mavis Torikawa; brothers, Domingo, Alfred, Roger, Sonny and Rudy Amano and Ronald Char; sisters, Veronica, Maggie, Felly and Dolores; two grandchildren. Visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Diamond Head Mortuary; service 7 p.m. Inurnment 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire.

DORI LOUISE BAANG, 38, of Ewa Beach, died Dec. 23, 2000. Born in San Jose, Calif. Survived by husband, Alfred; daughter, Katrina Weaver; son, Joseph Perez; stepsons, Alfred, Richard, Simon, Chad, Damien and Justin; nine grandchildren; mother, Charlotte Young; stepfather, Samuel Young; brother, Joe Allie; grandparents, John and Lorraine Kemmere. GLADYS M.L. CHUNG, 94, of Honolulu, died Dec. 15, 2000. Born in Honolulu. Survived by niece, Frances Liu; nephew, Michael Liu; sister-in-law, Dorothy Liu; aunties. Private services. Arrangements by Borthwick Mortuary.

KIYOSHI IZUMI, 87, of Hilo, Hawaii, died Dec. 23, 2000. Born in Onomea, Hawaii. A house painter retired from Oahu Painting Inc. Survived by wife, Nobuko; son, Herbert; sister-in-law, Reiko. No monetary donations. Private family service held. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary, Hilo.

SONG CHOL MARSHALL, 45, of Kaneohe, died Dec. 25, 2000. Born in Seoul, Korea. Owner of S & K Snacks. Survived by wife, Kyong; son, Insong; mother, Okhui; brother, Charlie; sisters, Mihui Park, Susie Bacher and Sandra Lee. Service noon Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Burial 10 a.m. Friday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.

REX STRINGHAM MATTHEWS, 90, of Honolulu, died Nov. 27, 2000. Born in Yakima, Wash. Resident of Foster Tower and The Villa on Eaton Square. Member of Rotary International who attended Rotary Club of Honolulu. Survived by wife, Betty; sister, Joy Romayne; daughter, Mary Nelson; four grandchildren. Mainland service held. Memorial donations to the American Red Cross, 302 South 2nd St., Yakima, WA 98901.

JACINTO "JOE" RIVERA, 73, of Honolulu, died Dec. 15, 2000. Born in Hamakuapoko, Maui. A retired Hickam Air Force Base aircraft mechanic. Survived by brothers, Pedro and Fred; sisters, Esmenia Galinato, Theresa Sevilla, Katherine, Ella Osako, Gloria Tenorio and Magdalene Kawamoto. Visitation 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Church; Mass noon. Burial 1 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Borthwick Mortuary.

FLORENCE H. SPENCER, 64, of Waimanalo, died Dec. 26, 2000. Born in Honolulu. Survived by sons, Joshua "Bud" and Nathan; daughters, Priscilla "Cilla," Florence "Hii" Wurtsbaugh and Virginia "Puni" Cash; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Alfred Torres and Nolan Ramirez; hanai brother, John Orsini; sisters, Lorraine Lundberg, Janice "Jan" Rowan, Evalani Pero, Geraldine "Geri" Ramirez and Yvonne "Bonnie" Rill. IRITTA SPENCER, 66, of Honolulu, died Dec. 25, 2000. Born in South Kohala, Hawaii. Survived by sons, Gene Sheldon, Lionel Kahuena and Alexander Kahuena Jr.; daughter, Leona Kahuena; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Moses Kawaihae, Henry Kawaihae and Leland Kawaihae; sisters, Susie Grandstaff, Mara Timsing, Barbara Kawaihae and Lenora Jacob; companion, Clarence Medeiros. ELIA GONZALES TORRES III, 30, of Wailuku, Maui, died Dec. 19, 2000. An installer/repairer for Valley Isle Screen. Born in Honolulu. A member of the Maui CB Club. Part owner of Elias Yard Service. Survived by wife, Valerie; son, Isaac; daughters, Cynthia and Jasmine; father, Elias Jr.; mother, Francette Gora; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Ferreira, Edith Silva and Mrs. Francis Torres; brothers, Withlin Brahm, Elizhah Torres; sisters, Francette Gora, Georgette Gora and Maria Torres. TADASHI TSUDA, 84, of Honolulu, died Dec. 17, 2000, and his wife, IRENE FUKIYE TSUDA, 79, died Nov. 17, 2000. He was born in Kipu, Kauai, and was a retired federal auto mechanic. She was born in Puunene, Maui, and was a retired optical receptionist. Survived by daughters, Frances Matsuoka and Karen Nishimura; grandchild, Christy; his brother, Robert; his sisters, Nancy Kajioka and Betsy Akama; her sisters, Katherine Nagatori, Dorothy Kusatsu and Clara Harada. MYRA S.Y. WATT, 72, of Honolulu, died Dec. 18, 2000. Born in Honolulu. Survived by husband, Philip; son, Eric; daughters, Jennifer Lau and Karen Cowan; six grandchildren; brother, Gregory Tong.
