ROMANA BUMANGLAG BATANGAN, 76, of Honolulu, died Feb. 12, 2001. Born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Survived by husband, Eugenio; sons, Wilson, Mario, Edwin and Michael-Ryan; daughters, Monica, Carlina Ramos, Florentina Paguirigan, Cres Cainguitan, and Norma; brother, Johnny Campos; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. ADRIANO PASCUA CARAANG, 67, of Honolulu, died Feb. 22, 2001. Born in San Nicolas, Philippines. Survived by wife, Corazon; son, Edwin; daughter, Jocelyn; brothers, Mauro, Cornelio, Roque Sr., Andres Sr. and Ardolfo; sisters, Victoria Baguio, Paula Bonilla, Ignacia Domingo, Trinidad Abella; three grandchildren. ALLAN IRA EDWARDS, 69, of Honolulu, died March 1, 2001. Retired U.S. Army paratrooper. Survived by wife, Cristeta; son, Jesse; daughters, Rose Marie; two granddaughters; brother, Roy Andrews; sisters, Joyce Pappe, Barbara Marin, Bobbie Jean Liard, Shirley Grabher. KALAI O KALANI SORIANO HANOG, infant daughter of Joshua Hanog and Laikealoha Soriano of Lanai, died Feb. 27, 2001. Born in Honolulu. Also survived by grandparents, Wallace Hanog and Bernadette Giron, and Mapuana Soriano; great-grandparents, Mamerto and Eulalia Giron, Larry Hanog Sr. and Eloise Mahaulu, Samuel Kaopuiki, Emilio Soriano and George and Betty Kahoohalahala. EDWIN GEORGE KALILIKANE JR., 75, of Waianae, died Feb. 24, 2001. Born in Honolulu. Retired Fort Shafter Family Housing Division civil service employee. Survived by wife, Motoe; sons, Edwin III, Abraham, Albert and David; daughter, Jane Machado; six grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters. HATSUE KANESHIRO, 87, of Honolulu, died Feb. 26, 2001. Born in Waipahu. ARTHURENE L. "AUNTY" KIM, 61, of Gresham, Ore., formerly of Honolulu, died Feb. 22, 2001. Born in Honolulu. Retired Sears and Kaiser Permanente accounts receivable clerk. Survived by husband, Girard; sons, Vance and Christopher; daughter, Lisa; sisters, Rhoda Benson, Sandy Loudermilk and Lani Spencer; five grandchildren. MALCOLM BUNG YEN KOP, 82, of Marin County, Calif., died Feb. 26, 2001. Born in Honolulu. Mun Lun School teacher, and civil service worker at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, and Army Headquarters, Tokyo. Survived by sons, Steven "Karlton" and Weslie; three grandchildren. Visitation 9 and 10 a.m. Saturday at Diamond Head Mortuary; memorial service 10 a.m.; inurnment to follow at Diamond Head Memorial Park.

EVELYN "PINKIE" ROLLER LAGARET, 68, of Kailua, died Feb. 20, 2001. Born in Honolulu. A homemaker. Survived by husband, Godofredo; sons, Anthony and Gregory "Finikie" Kanoa and Raymond Roller; daughters, Eldora Figueroa and Sharon Mandeville; brothers, Richard, Ronald and Reggie Roller; sister, Diane Feliciano; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. CHARLES D. "MAC" McLAUGHLIN, 79, of Honolulu, died Feb. 24, 2001. A retired federal logistician.
