LIFE WITH STYLE IN HAWAI'I
SPRING  2008

TOBY PORTNER

My pick: White linen pants and a black-and-white top.

The look: Eclectic! White linen pants scored at the Fashion Forum’s swap party, top from my own spring line (tobyp).

From my closet: Make it pop with bright green accessories: a headband (Banana Republic) and sandals (Macy’s).

Another way to wear it: Black and white pairs well with hot pink, orange, yellow or blue. I also wear these pants with a variety of black tops — short, long, tank, vest, solid, patterned. I love them with red patent clogs (Cole Haan), a white patent hat, polka dot sunglasses or a black-and-white scarf worn at the neck as a choker or at the waist or a belt.
