MITSUKO AKIMOTO, a former picture bride who went on to become an award-winning volunteer with the American Lung Association and American Red Cross, died Feb. 2 in Honolulu. She was 104. See story.

NOAH ABRAZADO, who was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor when he was two months old, died Feb. 1 at his Mililani home. Noah turned 1 Sept. 24. See story.
