New Year's Grand Sumo Tournament


At Tokyo Day 1 highlights

Ozeki (champions) Musoyama, Miyabiyama and Chiyotaikai won their opening bouts, while fellow ozeki Dejima and Kaio both lost.

Yokozuna (grand champion) Musashimaru and Takanohana won their opening bouts. Musashimaru is Fiamalu Penitani from Waianae, Hawaii.
