||'Felix' costs are huge, but obligation is, too
Neither the Legislature nor the administration can simply wish the problem of paying for the Felix consent decree away by declaring we are in compliance when we are not. The obligation will not go away. Neither should our commitment to meeting it.
On bus fares, set subsidy policy first
The best approach on bus fares is where they are rationally set and based on a clear understanding and established policy on how much subsidy should come from the taxpayers.
