MUST-SEE: "Once and Again," 9 p.m., ABC. In "Once and Again," which moves to a new night, Rick (Billy Campbell) is torn by worries. His girlfriend (Sela Ward) is taking a pregnancy test and his son (Shane West) is moving further from the mainstream. Eventually, other stories merge in a strong visual blend.
"Anatomy of a Hate Crime," 6 p.m., MTV. This movie portrays the real story that typifies hatred at its worst the killing of gay college student Matthew Shepard.
"Bette," 7 p.m., CBS. Bettes a matchmaker for her daughter.
"Temptation Island" premiere, 8 p.m., Fox. Heres the start of another "Survivor"-type reality show with a seedy Fox twist. Four close couples are sent to a beautiful setting in Belize. Once there, 26 pretty people try to break them up.
"The West Wing," 8 p.m., NBC. Felicity Huffman, who co-starred in "Sports Night," shows up as chief of staff for an ambitious Senate Majority Leader.
"Jack & Jill" season-opener, 8 p.m., WB. "Jack & Jill" returns as "Felicity" takes a break until spring. Tonight, "Jack & Jill" centers on a friends wedding. People fret and drink; there are some funny moments, then a strong finish.
"Jazz," 9 p.m., PBS. A strong sense of personality ripples through this third chapter of the 10-part series.
