JEAN MCCORRISTON CUNNINGHAM, 83, died Dec. 27, 2000. Sister of Honolulu physician Colin McCorriston. A graduate of Punahou School and University of California at Berkley. Also survived by husband, William; sons, Patrick and Joseph; three grandchildren; sister, Patricia Porter. No service; private scattering of ashes. Arrangements by Litty Funeral Home, Brookings, Ore.

GRACE TAMIKO FUJISUE, 88, of Honolulu, died Dec. 22, 2000. Born in Honolulu. A retired office receptionist. Survived by daughter, Ann James; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild. Private service held. Arrangements by Hosoi Garden Mortuary.

NOBORU HIGA, 83, of Honolulu, died Jan. 5, 2001. Born in Waipahu. A retired Flamingo Cafe cook. Survived by wife, Kikue; son, Milton; daughters, Esther Zukeran and Brenda Pereira; five grandchildren; brother, George; sisters, Clytie Yogi and Amy Odo. Visitation 5 p.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service 6 p.m. No flowers. Casual attire.

HANAYO HOSHIDE, 88, of Honolulu, died Dec. 30, 2000. Born in Papaaloa, Hawaii. Retired co-owner of Champion Market in San Pedro, Calif., and a poultry farmer. Survived by daughters, Judith Oda, Leilani Matoba and May Ozaki; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Nobuo, Haruo and Hideo Yamada; sisters, Kiyono Kashiwabara and Laura Tully. Private service held. Arrangements by Hosoi Garden Mortuary.

YOSHIAKI HOSHIDE, 88, of Honolulu, died Dec. 30, 2000. Born in Kukaiau, Hamakua, Hawaii. Retired co-owner of Champion Market in San Pedro, Calif., and a poultry farmer. CLARENCE P. KEALOHA, 67, of Nanakuli, died Jan. 3, 2001. Born in Honolulu. A supervisor retired from state Highway Division. Survived by sons, Philip, Clarence "Boy," Benjamin "Kaleo" and Jonah; daughter, Gwen; brother, Walter; sister, Yvonne Park; 10 grandchildren. Visitation 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary; service 11 a.m. Scattering of ashes to follow at Keaulana Beach, Nanakuli. Casual attire.

TAKAO KUBOTA, 81, of Pearl City, died Jan. 3, 2001. Born in Waimea, Kauai. A retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard electrician and member of the 100th Infantry Battalion Veterans Club. Survived by wife, Yoshie; son, Gary; daughters, Sharon Sakai, Janice Stamper and Alma; brothers, Shigeomi, Herbert and Dr. Scot; sister, Tomiko Imaoka; seven grandchildren. Service 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. No flowers. Casual attire.

CAROLINA SERION, 67, of Pearl City, died Dec. 27, 2000. Born in Hawi, Kohala, Hawaii. A registered nurse retired from Kapiolani at Pali Momi Hospital/St. Francis Medical Center. Survived by son, Ross; daughters, Lori Locquiao, Meri Orive, Elsa and Myra Serion; eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; brother, Florendo Domingo; sisters, Rosa Salvador, Marcelina Morales, Benilda Agustin, Encarnacion Abuan, Petronila Dean and Rosalinda Cabral. Visitation 10 a.m. Saturday at Borthwick Mortuary; service 11 a.m.

WAI YING YUEN, 90, of Honolulu, died Dec. 30, 2000. Born in China. Survived by sons, Koon Man Cheung and Guan Bin Zhang; daughters, Koon Hing Cheung, Koon Wah Won and Koon Hin Chow; 13 grandchildren; 19 grandchildren. Visitation 8:30 to 10:15 a.m. Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary; Taoist services. Burial 11 a.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
