Waves on the North Shore will stay near advisory level for most of the week and rise to around 18 feet on Friday. The "Quicksilver In Memory Of Eddie Aikau" contest at Waimea Bay is awaiting waves of a steady 20 feet and over. Call 596-7873 daily after 8 a.m. for details.
