Baldwin best in soccer
Playing under the weight of a yellow card, Nicole Garbin scored two goals in the second half last night to lead Baldwin High to a 2-0 victory over Mililani for its second straight Meadow Gold Girls State Soccer championship at Aloha Stadium.
UH baseball team beats Louisville to end 3-game slide
Santa Rosa (Calif.) junior college transfer Matt Le Ducq pitched 4 2/3 innings of scoreless relief to help the Rainbows beat Louisville, 10-2. The win halted a three-game losing skid for the Rainbows and evened the three-game series.

The Wahine volleyball team won and won this past season. The Wahine won, at one point, 27 consecutive matches and were ranked as high as No. 1 in one poll. They went to the final four, finished 31-2, and did not lack for stars. |
